Why The Blog Name?

So why the name you ask? I actually get this often…mostly from my close friends…which is odd, because one would assume that my close friends should know me pretty well. But the reality differs greatly.

Let’s break this down.

“RasaM’s Guide to Life, Lust, Love, Tehran, Toronto, and Everything”

“RasaM” – is my first name…and I like to write it with the “M” capitalized, because it’s more symmetrical…

“Guide to Life”, “and Everything” – are actually a package, a combo if you will. “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy” is the name of a book, err…I mean trilogy of five, that not only changed the way I look at life, but forever shaped me as a person. It also played a significant role in encouraging me to write, which means you now have a solid clue in the quest of finding the culprit that resulted in my attempts in writing.

“Lust”, “Love”, “Tehran”, “Toronto” – “Lust” is there, because I tend to write about my sexual encounters…one could argue that it’s all a big rouse, and by “over compensating”, I desperately try to mask my small penis, and others just think I’m horny. “Love” is the ultimate goal I guess…or something just as cheesy. “Tehran” is my home, where I was born, and where I learned to feel like shit after every masturbation. And finally, “Toronto” is my home away from home. The place where winters are too long, summers are too humid, and we recycle our hearts out.
